To sum up, If you are looking for a great deal and honest dealings, I highly recommend working with Keith Walko at Lazenby's. If you are someone who is unable to perform your own maintenance and repair on your mower, however, my interaction with Lazenby's service department has not been encouraging, and you may want to look elsewhere.
Sales Experience:
-On Monday, July 31st, I emailed the Keith, letting him know I threw another belt, figured out why, and sent a link to a video showing the problem.
I am, however, disappointed that in 6 weekdays and a full weekend I couldn't get a single message or contact from the service department. Maybe they are just extremely busy since I received a very quick response in June, but even with the benefit of the doubt I don't think that excuses being ignored this amount of time.
-On Thursday, August 3rd, I received a reply that the email had be forwarded again to the service manager and he should be in contact soon.

In June 2017 my mower (with 12 hours) shred a deck belt, so I emailed Keith for assistance on Friday, June 9th. He promptly forwarded my info to the service manager and responded Monday, June 12th. Unfortunately since this was the first time it happened there wasn't much to do, and it was chalked up to a fluke. I understand that, and agreed there wasn't much to do. (I replaced the belt myself with a spare I had purchased) I just appreciated the quick response.
These guys are great! I have purchased a tractor-pulled finish mower and a Cub ZT mower. Both times the experience was great. For the zero turn they had to order it because the one I wanted was not on the lot (I'm a bit picky). Scott loaned me a mower for 4 weeks until mine arrived. I broke the loaner (my fault entirely) and they fixed it for the cost of the parts. Try and get Home Depot to do that! If you are going to drop serious money on equipment, spend a bit more and buy from an authorized dealer like Lazenby. In return you have someone who cares and wants to keep you happy. If you buy a Cub Cadet for instance from HD or WalMart and you need service, guess who does the service? NOT Home Depot or the farm supply store - Lazenby. They will do the work, but you will come after those who bought from them as should be the case. Be smart and buy from the people who you will be calling for parts and service - it pays in the end.
On Sunday, July 30th, (30 hours, so 18 hours on this belt) my mower threw another belt, this one shredded as well. After some troubleshooting, I discovered a loose parking pawl kit on the right-hand EZT transmission that resulted in 3-4 inches of lateral slop on the parking brake linkage. This linkage would move towards the belt and rub on it. I confirmed this visually as the right hand linkage has black rub marks, while the left hand linkage (whose parking pawl kit is not loose) has no marks at all.
-As of today, Tuesday, August 8th, no response has been received.

In March 2017 I purchased a Big Dog Alpha 36" Mower from Lazenby. I had sent emails requesting pricing from roughly 5 Big Dog dealers nearest me. Hands down Kieth Walko with Lazenby's replied with the best, most informative, and most helpful response out of all of those 5, and he alone is why I took my business to Lazenby's (based on the professionalism and detail of that email). He also gave me what I know (not think) to be a great deal on a mower. When I met him to pick it up, he was very helpful and pleasant and a joy to interact with, and was friendly towards my entire family, wife and antsy toddlers included. Even though they were slammed on the Saturday I picked it up, he still manged to take care of my paperwork, get the mower set up, let me drive it around, and offered to help load it. Can't say enough good things about Kieth!

Service Experience:
I am not mad or upset, as I consider myself technically and mechanically inclined. I instituted a temporary fix to prevent further shred belts until I get replacement parts (zip tie-ing the linkage to the frame so it cannot get near the belt) and I am fully capable of replacing the parts myself, which I will do, after ordering the parts from another dealer.
